MTM lightweight water repellent Taslon, Oeko-Tex - sienna

From Mind the Maker of Denmark, this is an incredibly versatile, eco-friendly Taslon fabric that is water repellent, durable and comfortable to wear. It is smooth, with a flat plain weave that looks the same on both sides and it's stable in both directions. There is a bit of crispness in the drape and the color is sienna (PANTONE 18-1433 is close, but it's more orange than pink). Taslon (A.K.A. Taslan) is a high-tech fabric made with nylon that is resistant to wear and tear, fading and shrinking. It is lightweight and breathable, but the tight weave blocks out wind, and combined with a water-repellant quick-dry finish it's a great choice for outerwear. It is also suitable for bagmaking, hats or other accessories that require a strong, durable and lightweight fabric. Oeko-Tex certified for non-toxic chemicals and dyes, it is an excellent choice for a lightweight rain jacket, trench coat, raincoat, outerwear shell, activewear pants, or line with fleece or our warm back coat lining for use as cold weather outerwear. The manufacturer recommends machine washing cool (max 85 dg F) on gentle setting and iron on cool only. Do not bleach, dry clean, or tumble dry.
